LABOURFED Chairman and Senior AAP leader Gurpratap Singh Khushalpur joins SAD along with supporters in presence of Sukhbir Singh Badal

Chandigarh, October 13 : Punjab Labourfed Chairman and senior Aam Admi Party (AAP) leader Gurpratap Singh Khushalpur today joined the Shiromani Akali Dal with his large number of supporters in the presence of the SAD President Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal.

Welcoming them in party fold, the SAD president said that Mr. Khushalpur has rejoined SAD which will immensely help party to consolidate itself in Punjab particularly in Gurdaspur. He said that a large number of his supporters have also rejoined SAD specially Gurbax Singh Numberdar, Balwinder Singh Malhi, Balwant Singh, Parmjit Singh besides others.

Mr. Badal said that a clear message has been sent in the state that it is only the SAD which can work for welfare of the state and AAP and other parties have no interest in development and progress of the state.

Lashing at Punjab CM Capt. Amarinder Singh, Mr. Badal said that though the CM should take strict action against forces that are hell bent on destroying peace and harmony of the state but it appears that these forces are being blessed by the Congress party itself. He said that a relook on the history will prove that it is the Congress party which had always played a role in disturbing peace and communal harmony in the Punjab. He said that similar efforts were made in the past during sacrilege of Guru Grant Sahib in Bargari and elsewhere.

The SAD President said that real reason behind efforts to disturb peace in the state is to divert attention of the public from failures of the Amarinder Singh Government. He said that the SAD will not allow anyone to disturb peace and harmony in the state.

Mr. Badal also appealed Prime Minister to himself meet agitating farmers of the country particularly from Punjab to allay their fears on MSP and ensure government purchase and sort out issue erupted after framing of 3 agri laws.
